Jason Abare is the Director of Technology at E-BizDocs, Inc. in Menands, New York. E-BizDocs is an award-winning electronic document management service provider that is committed to helping companies, state agencies, local governments and other organizations find electronic solutions to otherwise inefficient record management systems. Since 2004 he has worked to constantly challenge and question how we can do things faster and more efficiently in business utilizing technology.
Jason grew up in upstate New York and attended The College of Saint Rose where he received his Bachelor’s in Science. Jason is a 2010 recipient of the Business Review’s Top 40 Under 40. A board member of Capital Alliance of Young Professionals (CAYP) since 2010, Jason is dedicated to growing CAYP’s already strong foothold as one of the premiere social and networking groups in the capital region.
Maxine Barasch, Esq. is the principal attorney for the intellectual property law firm, Maxine Barasch & Associates, PLLC. Ms. Barasch received an Associate in Arts degree from Hudson Valley Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University at Albany, and a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School of Union University. She opened her law office in the spring of 2007 where she practices exclusively patent, trademark, copyright, and Internet law.
Ms. Barasch is the founder and a current board member of Capital Alliance of Young Professionals. She is a member of the board of directors of the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation and serves as the Chair of the College’s Alumni Association. Ms. Barasch serves on the board of directors of the Upstate New York/Vermont Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Board of Associates of The College of St. Rose. She is also a member of the New York State and Albany County Bar Associations.
Adam has been with Trinity Realty Group since July of 2008. He attended Flagler College in St. Augustine Florida and earned a degree in Business Administration. He specializes in the retail sector of the market, representing both landlords and tenants throughout the Hudson Valley and Upstate New York. He joined the Board in May of 2010 to help increase member benefits and partnerships with CAYP.
Adam M. Breault, Esq. joined the Albany law firm of Meyers & Meyers, LLP in December of 2006 as a magna cum laude graduate of Albany Law School. Adam’s practice focuses on commercial and business law, immigration, personal injury, real estate, and estate planning, as well as many other areas of practice. Before joining Meyers & Meyers, LLP, Adam practiced law in Syracuse where he focused primarily on medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury law. Upon graduating law school, he served as an appellate law clerk for the Appellate Division, Third Department in Albany. Adam has been a member of CAYP since 2007 and a member of CAYP’s Board of Directors since May of 2010.
Ryan Hanley has proudly served on the CAYP Board of Directors since May of 2009 and will humbly assume the roll of Vice President in July of 2010. Professionally, Ryan works as an Insurance Agent for the Guilderland Agency, Inc and has been providing personal and commercial insurance services to the Albany / Capital Region and New York Tech Valley for over three years. Ryan grew up in Rensselaer County graduating from Columbia High School and went on to receive a bachelors degree in Mathematics from the very distinguished University of Rochester. Ryan is also the creator and author of the internationally acclaimed Albany Insurance Professional blog.
Joshua Krull is a native of Buffalo NY but has been living in the Capital District since 2006. He is a graduate of Daemen College located in Amherst NY and is currently the Executive Director of Atria Shaker a 130 apartment assisted living community in Albany.
Rudy R. Lynch, CCIM, is a real estate broker with Carrow Real Estate Services, LLC in Albany. His areas of expertise include both tenant and landlord representation with a concentration in the office and investment sectors. He brings to the table a background in sales, lease negotiations, site acquisition, property disposition, development, tenant representation and market analysis. He graduated from the University at Albany in 2006 with a BA in Communication and Rhetoric and obtained his CCIM designation in 2009 after completing $10 million in deals.
Theresa Petrone is the Campaign Manager of Special Events for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. As the head of the local chapter’s relationship based campaigns, Theresa uses her professional experience in networking and philanthropy to promote the mission of LLS and secure funding for their worthy cause. Theresa grew up in the small town of Rhinebeck, NY, and received her B.A. from the University at Albany in 2005. A member of the Capital Alliance of Young Professionals (CAYP) since 2008, she served on the Board of Associates for one year before being elected the organization’s second President. She continues to work in concert with CAYP’s leadership to ensure the organization’s sense of community and commitment to its members. Additionally, Theresa has volunteered as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Compeer Program for the past several years.
Stephanie Richter is Northeast Parent & Child Society’s Director of Development and Communications. She has been with the agency for 3 years and is responsible for a variety of marketing projects and fundraising activities including special events, seasonal appeals, publication designs, photography, website content and social media management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Siena College.
In addition to CAYP, Stephanie serves on the Board of Directors of the Oran Mor Pipe Band, a professional 30+ member competition band based out of Albany, where she handles the group’s fundraising efforts, special events, communications and social media. She is also an e-Buddy volunteer with Best Buddies International, a program that provides opportunities for e-mail friendships between persons with a developmental disability and their peers who do not have a developmental disability.
Wes is the Branch Officer for Legacy Banks offices in Latham and Downtown Albany. He is also Treasurer and Executive Board Member of the Capital Alliance of Young Professionals, Membership Committee Chair and Board Member for the Colonie Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and Board Member of the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District. He received his BA/MA from the University at Albany and holds a number of financial certifications and designations.
Danielle Valenti is the Marketing Coordinator for Crisafulli Bros. Plumbing and Heating Contractors, Inc., a Mechanical Contracting company, in Albany, NY. Danielle grew up in Pittsfield, MA, and received her B.A. in Communication and Media from Western New England College. Danielle currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Capital Alliance of Young Professionals and the Albany Ad Club. Additionally, she is an active volunteer for Interfaith Partnership of the Homeless and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Liz Vitaliano is a 2005 graduate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Liz is also a graduate of the Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) from GE and has now been working within the Plastics industry for 5 years. She currently works at SABIC Innovative Plastics as the ColorXpress Engineering Leader. Liz is a candidate at Union Graduate College for a Masters in Business Administration. Her expected graduation date is 2012. Liz has been a member of CAYP since November 2007 and joined the Board of Associates in May 2009. She is currently the Secretary of CAYP. In her free time, Liz enjoys playing soccer, softball, golf and running. She also is an avid reader and loves to travel. Her favorite vacation spot is the beach.
Scott Wildove, CPA is a Senior Tax Analyst with the Ayco Company where he specializes on individual tax preparation for corporate executives and other high net worth individuals. Scott is a 2006 graduate of Marist College where he earned a BS in Accounting. He started his career with a small CPA firm in Albany which specialized in meeting the tax and accounting needs of family owned businesses. In addition to CAYP, Scott is actively involved with the NYS Society of CPA’s Young CPA committee.
